Poet Pamela Uschuk
Pamela Uschuk, 2010 American Book Award winner for Crazy Love, is the author of four books including Scattered Risks and Without the Comfort of Stars: New and Selected Poems. Healing in the Language of Trees, a film based on her poem, will be released in 2010. She has won the Struga Theme Poem Prize, the Dorothy Daniels Writing Award, and an award from the Chester H. Jones Foundation. Her work has been translated into many languages.

She makes her home with the writer William Pitt Root, and their two dogs, Happy and Lulu.
