Sandra Meek


Sandra Meek's book of poems, Biogeography, was the 2006 winner of the Dorset Award. She is the author of Nomadic Foundations (2002), Burn (2005), and The Circumference ofArrival (2001). She is editor of an anthology, Deep Travel: Contemporary American Poets Abroad (2007), which was awarded a 2008 Independent Publisher Book Award Gold Medal. She has published in journals such as Agni, The Kenyon Review, Poetry, Conjunctions, and The Iowa Review, been awarded Georgia Author of the Year, served as a Peace Corps volunteer, and named Poetry Editor of the Phi Kappa Phi Forum. Co-founding editor of Ninebark Press and director of GA Poetry Circuit, she teaches English, rhetoric, and writing at Berry College.
