Terence Hawkins
Terence Hawkins is the author of The Rage of Achilles (Casperian Books 2009), an account of the Iliad in the form of a novel. It has been described as "a genuinely fresh take on a classic text" by Tom Perrotta and "masterful" by Richard Selzer. His short stories and humor have appeared in print in Keyhole and The Binnacle and online at Pindeldyboz, Eclectica, Megaera, Ape Culture, and Poor Mojo's Almanac(k). He is also a contributor to Connecticut Public Radio and the New Haven Register.
Hawkins was born in Uniontown, PA, to a coal mining family and graduated from Yale, where he was Publisher of the Yale Daily News. He still lives in New Haven, CT, where he is a practicing trial lawyer.
